Counselling & Therapeutic Services

About Carrianne

Based in Kent, Carrianne has founded Worthy Therapies to provide mental health and wellbeing services to those who are struggling.

"I have worked in educational and health settings throughout my whole professional life. For the best part of a decade, I have been based exclusively in a local primary school, where I have been running small group and one-to-one interventions, as well as supporting families as a whole.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, I was truly shocked and moved by the devastating effects this mass trauma was having on our society, young and old, student and teacher. It did however, inspire me to train further so I could provide meaningful talking therapy services to anyone in need. I completed my studies for a Diploma in Professional Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practices and am now an accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.

My counselling training model has been Pluralistic, which means that I am primarily trained in 3 different approaches; Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic and Person-Centred. Every person is unique, everyone experiences the world differently and everybody has had a personal journey to get to where they are today.

The benefit to being a Pluralistic Counsellor, means that my approach to your therapy can be a truly holistic one. If you decide to embark on a therapeutic alliance with me, then these options and approaches will be fully discussed with you and specifically tailored to your needs."
